FAQ

Questions, answered.

The things couples ask before they hand us their day.

How far in advance should we book?
Most couples get in touch six to twelve months out, especially for summer Saturdays. Good dates go early — but it's always worth asking, because partner acts free up.
Do you travel?
Yes. We cover events across the UK and travel further for the right day. Tell us the venue and we'll confirm travel in the quote.
When do you arrive and set up?
We arrive early enough to set up quietly, test the sound and let the room settle before your first guest walks in. Setup time is built into the quote, not charged as a surprise.
Can we choose every song?
You can. We plan with you beforehand, keep a must-play and do-not-play list, and take live requests on the night. A good DJ reads the floor rather than forcing a playlist.
Is the saxophone live or backing tracks?
Live. The saxophonist plays over professionally produced backing tracks, so the sound is full but the instrument in the room is real.
What if it rains or the venue changes?
We plan for it. Marquee, garden or indoor — we confirm power, cover and a wet-weather plan with your venue before the day.
How do payments work?
A deposit holds the date and the balance falls due before the wedding. Everything is confirmed in writing, with insurance and a risk assessment included.
Can we meet the DJ before booking?
Yes. Once we know your date we'll put you in touch with the DJ who'd be playing, so there are no surprises on the night.
